Learning some new things...

I am trying to teach myself to crochet.  Not sure why but I am.  I can remember when I was little, my mom would spend cold winter evenings crocheting a blanket.  I loved to watch her weave the yarn together to make various colored blankets.  I still have some of those blankets.  Being impatient I have not tackled such a long project.  Below are the projects I have tackeld and finished.  I think my mom would be proud to see I have finally gotten past making a chain!  I miss you, Mom!
